Explore Great Festivals in and Around Bristol this Summer

The UK hosts some of the best music festivals on the planet each summer, and many of them are found in and around Bristol. Here are just a few of our top picks:

The Down’s Festival

The Down’s Festival 2018 is going to be the biggest draw for any music lover. After all, headliners are set to include Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Paul Weller, Orbital, and Goldie & The Ensemble. That’s a killer line-up that’s joined by the likes of Heritage Ensemble, Basement Jaxx, Nadine Shah, and Dream Wife. From electronic to pop, you’ll find exactly what you’re after, and the festivals location on the Downs is one of the most scenic in the country.

Valley Fest

Head just down the road from Bristol to find yourself at Chew Magna’s Valley Fest. It’s a great option for families that draws on both international acts and homegrown favourites. Acts for 2018 include St Paul & The Broken Bones, Rae Morris, Sam Outlaw, Dizraeli & DownLow, Yola Carter, Harvey Causon, and Alabaster DePlume. If you want to relive the best festivals of your youth while still bringing the kids along, Valley Fest is a good shout.

Another World

Another World is just making its debut this year, so you’ll be stunned to read the line-up. It’s a veritable who’s who of dance music featuring some of the industry’s most popular acts. Get yourself to Another World if you want to enjoy tunes from electronic pioneers and mainstream superstars.

Tokyo World

If you’re not keen on Another World, why not check out Tokyo World instead? It’s set to bring over 100 artists across 5 fields of music over two days in Bristol’s Eastville Park. It doesn’t kick off until the 22nd and 23rd of September, but the wait will be more than worth it. Top acts are set to include headliners Action Bronson and Sister Sledge.

For accommodation for all of these events, why not try serviced apartments? The perfect solution for when you want to be close to the action, but also want a nice hot shower.
